Venice’s boat show, held every year in late May in the basins of the Arsenale: motor and sailing boats, electric and hybrid propulsion, and sea trials.
The Salone Nautico, in the basins of the Arsenale
Set in the Arsenale, the former shipyard of the Republic, the Salone Nautico di Venezia is the city’s boat show. It is held every year at the end of May and, in 2026, was in its seventh edition.
Promoted by the City of Venice and organised by Vela SpA with the Italian Navy, it occupies a water area of approximately 55,000 m². The 2026 edition announced some 300 boats and 270 exhibitors, both motor and sailing, with particular attention to electric and hybrid propulsion: sea trials, meetings and debates accompany the exhibition.
Beyond boating enthusiasts, the show is also an opportunity to enter the Arsenale, much of which is open to the public only during events such as this one or the Biennale.
Dates: the 2026 edition was held from 27 to 31 May; the 8th edition is announced for 26 to 30 May 2027. Opening hours and tickets are published on the official website before each edition.
