Mercatino dell’Antiquariato in Campo San Maurizio Event Market

Professional antiques dealers’ market in Campo San Maurizio, between Campo Santo Stefano and the Grand Canal, on a few weekends each year since 1970.

The antiques market in Campo San Maurizio

Several weekends a year, Campo San Maurizio, between Campo Santo Stefano and the Grand Canal, is covered with antiques dealers’ stalls. Founded in 1970, the Mercatino dell’Antiquariato is the main antiques market in the historic centre of Venice.

Around sixty professional exhibitors, from various regions of Italy and sometimes from abroad (Croatia, Slovenia), present furniture, silverware, glassware, ceramics, old books, engravings, jewellery and period objects. People come as much to stroll as to hunt for bargains: prices are those of a professional market, and the offering ranges from small items to collector’s pieces.

It is organised by the Associazione Espositori dell’Antiquariato di Campo San Maurizio and is part of the City of Venice’s “Città in Festa” programme.

Next edition: 4–6 December 2026. The 2027 dates had not yet been announced at the end of October 2026. For other markets and flea markets, see markets in Venice.
